- The Downtown Pomeroy Arts, Entertainment and Historical District is located roughly one block west of the water tower in the heart of Pomeroy, Iowa, USA. Pomeroy is located in NW Iowa 1/2 hour west of Ft. Dodge on Highways 4&7
Featured entities are The Kaleidoscope Factory, Byron's, The Hungry Horse + More, Liz Meyers' Americana Folk Art, Abbejas Art Glass and the work-in-progress Pomeroy Historical Museum.
The affiliates of the district are an unorganized, ethereal group of visionaries who are very proud of the fact they have no mission statement. They meet occasionally at the bar or on the sidewalk or at the White house to hatch schemes but otherwise have no formal membership list, meetings or dues.
