Calhoun County REC Is Offering Scholarships

 Scholarship Opportunity

Calhoun County REC is pleased to announce that up to four $500 scholarships will be awarded the spring of 2010. These scholarships will be disbursed to help with first year college expenses.
 
Eligible students must be graduating high school seniors and a dependent of a Calhoun County REC member. Applicants must be planning to enroll in a full time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school in the fall of 2010.
 
How Do I Apply? 
Scholarship awards will be based of the following criteria: complete application, one letter of reference from a teacher or counselor and a completed 250 word essay describing the benefits of energy efficiency for the consumer and Calhoun County REC, your Touchstone Energy Cooperative.

Awards will be announced by letter, in our newsletter and on the Calhoun County REC’s web site.
